NVTI was established in 1986 to further develop and enhance
the professional skills of veterans' employment and training
service providers throughout the United States. The program
is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor / Veterans' Employment
and Training Service, and administered by the University of
Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center with training conducted in Denver, Colorado
and at selected regional sites in the U.S. and abroad. The
Institute is the only one of its kind in the United States.
To date 50,000 + veterans' employment and training professionals
have attended NVTI training.
