ABOUT 

This Electronic Resource Connection has been developed by the Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS), an agency within the U.S. Department of Labor in cooperation with the National Veterans' Training Institute.  VETS is the Agency responsible for providing employment, training, educational and reemployment rights information and assistance to veterans, and other military personnel who are preparing to transition from the military.

The intent is to provide linkage to resources which are accessible via the Internet and related to employment, reemployment, training, education and benefits.  These links have been organized to facilitate user ease in finding the resources which meet their individual needs.

Many of these resources may also be of interest to employers and service provider professionals who have not been exposed to veterans programs and services.  Employers may find the resource connections to Reemployment rights and the Federal Contractor Program of interest.  Employers may also wish to register and post job openings electronically to America's Job Banks - a national database of job openings which is easily searched using a variety of criteria.  Employers may also scan job seeker's resumes which have been posted to the America's Talent Bank.
